Break group’s data within the block however section can be used to group the data and display in a nicer way across the report. The main advantage of section is it can display group value as a header and using data map user can easily navigate section as it is displayed as group tree.
To create section.
- Select the dimension which should be displayed as section
- Click Reporting->Set as Section
- It will display the one table per section value
Advantage of Section
- The group value is displayed as per header
- Each section table can have subtotal
- You can have another block within section
- In larger report it’s easy to navigate using map. It displays the section tree.
