Business Object Crystal Reports Certification

As a Part of on-going skill improvement program I am preparing for Business Object Certified Professional – Crystal Reports 2008.

I have been working on crystal reports from past 2 years. Which turned me to get certified on this tool. I must say it is one of the best tool from the set of reporting tools available in the market.

The best feature I liked is the formulas. It allows customizing the report to the best extent possible.

Well, To get certified one needs to clear 2 exams

BOCP-Crystal Reports 2008

1. RDCR08201 Business Objects Certified Professional – Crystal Reports 2008 – Level One

2. RDCR08301 Business Objects Certified Professional – Crystal Reports 2008 – Level Two

You can get more details about syllabus from Business Objects website.

Looking at the syllabus first exams looks pretty basic and covers basic report development skills of a Crystal Reports Developer.

Second exam has more advanced topics.

Both exams costs around 70$ each and one can buy exam voucher from Pearson Vue.

Since I am located in Pune (India). I tried searching for testing center of Pearson Vue in Pune but the website did not provide much information. Fortunately I got one link which gives information about PV centers in INDIA.

I hope, I would make it through in coming two months.
